Triads

What?

A form of depth interview involving three participants typically used to bring together a user, a non user and a lapser for a product/ service.

However these are sometimes inappropriately used to represent  a smaller group, which is actually a mini focus group that combines the advantages of in-depth interviews and focused groups.

Why?

Triads allows the moderator to delve into dissimilar opinions within the same organization and to appreciate different perspectives within the same group of people.
